Attracting big names to Old Trafford wasn't an issue for Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, but now it seems an imminent issue.
With Moyes in charge and the role of executive vice-chairman being occupied by Ed Woodward, it was always going to be difficult to bring world-class players to Manchester.
Moyes' did reportedly want Cesc Fàbregas and Thiago Alcântara, but was unsuccessful as the opportunity for them to play under more experienced managers proved lucrative.
If Moyes wants to bring in new names, he will have to prove himself at the highest level by bringing in trophies as players love to work under managers who have a trophy winning attitude.
