Drake gets one over Rihanna as Toronto beat Brooklyn

Published Add your comment

Canadian rapper and Toronto Raptors ambassador Drake was courtside for his side's 96-80 triumph victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night.

The Raptors fan was handed the privilege of reading out the Toronto Raptors line-up before the Eastern Conference outfit sealed their 18th win of the season.

His appearance at a NBA match came just days after fellow R&B star Rihanna was spotted at the Barclays Center to watch the Brooklyn Nets defeat the Atlanta Hawks last Monday.

And it was Rihanna's Nets who were involved in yesterday's clash at the Air Canada Centre in Drake's hometown of Toronto.

The Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan was in fine form for the Atlantic Division franchise as the 24-year-old scored 26 points and claimed five assists.

You can watch Drake introduce the Toronto Raptors team to the Air Canada Centre in the video, which was brought to our attention by Slam Online, above.
