What better way to celebrate a landmark playoff win than grabbing a beer?

There is no better way! However it’s not the immediate priority you’d assume any high-end sports star would have at the forefront of their mind.

Of course, Peyton Manning is no ordinary sports star.

The Denver Broncos quarterback was rightly in high spirits after defying the odds that suggested he would be condemned to yet another play-off defeat. And the 37-year-old was quick to reveal his No.1 priority after playing his part in the Broncos 24-17 victory over the resurgent San Diego Chargers: grabbing a Bud Light.

It’s most likely a clever advertising ploy in play, but the idea of Manning reaching for a beer in the locker room will get a unanimous nod of approval from most NFL fans.

Asked whether or not the prospect of hanging up his cleats for good was an idea he was pondering, Manning reportedly answered: ““No, it’s really not.

“What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth. That’s priority No. 1.”
