Top 10: Stars who should wait for summer transfers (1)

Published Add your comment

13 days into January and, as has almost become tradition in the world of modern football, we have already been subjected to a plethora of transfer rumours concerning a number of the globe's most-prestigious footballing outfits.

While few deals are yet to completed, if the various media outlets are to be believed, then we could well be privy to a number of major deals before the month is out that could significantly impact upon title races across the continent.

Yet while a January move could be hugely beneficial for some players, it is hard not to think that others would be far more wise to remain just where they are for the rest of the 2013/14 campaign and perhaps seek a move when the season draws to a close.

Here, GMS looks at 10 players linked with January transfers that should hold out until the summer - at least, in some cases - before completing any potential move.

Take a look through our choices and, as ever, please don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comment box provided.

Which players do you think should hold out before making their next move? Do you think any of these players will wait to move in the summer?

Perhaps you disagree with some of our selections? Do you see any of these stars moving before we reach February?
