Clearly a possessor of immense talent and skill, Morrison's career has struggled to take off amid rumblings off unsavoury off-field antics. Under the tutelage of Sam Allardyce at West Ham, however, the controversial 20-year-old appears to have finally settled down and his professional life have flourished as a result.
Such individual success at Upton Park should make Morrison think twice about leaving the club this January, despite the fact that West Ham currently find themselves embroiled in a fierce relegation dogfight.
Would a sideways move to fellow strugglers Fulham really be worth the aggravation? I think not. Morrison, in my view, should look to fully repay the faith shown in him by Allardyce and focus upon steering the Hammers clear of the dreaded trapdoor.
