Villain - Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa

Football News
24/7

Yanga-Mbiwa was very much the villain in Manchester City's eyes with a nasty challenge on Samir Nasri during their clash on Sunday afternoon.

Nasri gets his body in front of Yanga-Mbiwa and works hard to get away despite having his shirt pulled.

Yanga-Mbiwa proceeds to attempt to trip Nasri but failing that scythes the French midfielder to the ground resulting in Nasri being stretchered off the pitch.

The defender is booked for the foul but 'professional fouls' such as this that can cause long term injuries to other players should be the ones that are heavily punished.

Newcastle lost the match 2-0.
