2: Fredy Guarin | Inter Milan to Chelsea

Half of Europe may be chasing the services of the impressive Inter star, but if there's one thing Chelsea don't need, it's yet another attacking midfielder to add to their ranks.

Guarin may have talent, but it Juan Mata can't force his way into Jose Mourinho's plans then there isn't much hope to be placed behind the idea that a 27-year-old Serie A playmaker will come in and make a spot his own.

He may be good enough to make it at the very top, but a transfer to west London really would be career suicide. What's more, Mourinho could all too easily alienate the likes of Willian and Marco van Ginkel by purchasing in an area where they have, if anything, too many players.
