Manchester United have been rebuffed in their advances for Juventus pair Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal, according to the Standard.
The newspaper, which cites the Daily Mail, claims that talks held between David Moyes and the Serie A giants on Sunday didn’t go according to plan for the Old Trafford boss when he was told that the club didn’t want to sell Paul Pogba this month.
Furthermore the Turin outfit underlined that Arturo Vidal, who has also been heavily linked with a move to the reigning Premier League champions this transfer window, would not be available until at least the summer.
If the news emanating from Italy is correct then United will be forced to turn to other targets as they bid to improve their midfield. With the likes of Nani and Anderson being tipped to leave this month it’s highly likely fans can expect new faces.
