The first name to be announced for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame is former World Heavyweight Champion Ultimate Warrior.

The rumours surrounding the former champion's resurface began months ago when Vince McMahon made the decision to include Warrior in the newest WWE video game 2k14.

Warrior, real name James Hellwig, had a strained relationship with WWE during his career and it is only in recent years that the company have seen him as "one of the most recognised superstars of the company."

One of the biggest fantasy matches of the WWE Universe shows current superstar John Cena facing off against the chaotic superstar which shows how popular Hellwig still is amongst WWE's die hard fans.

The ceremony is set to take place the night before WrestleMania on April 5 and is a big part of the New Orleans weekend.

Other announcements will be made in the upcoming weeks with the names of superstars who will join the class of 2014 WWE Hall of Fame.
