Boston Celtics star Rajon Rondo has hinted that he could be in line for a shock return against the Los Angeles Lakers this weekend.
The point guard doesn't have an official return date from his anterior cruciate ligament injury, which he sustained almost a year ago.
But, if his cryptic tweets are anything to go by, a return could be set for January. 17.
This morning, Rondo tweeted: "29,233,380 secs."
For those of you who can't work it out, the number equates to 338 days, which would be the exact time between his knee surgery to his potential return.
He even seems to have taken in to account the difference in the time of day the surgery occurred to the 19:30 tip-off time on Friday.
But Rondo rarely takes his Twitter account seriously, last taking time to tweet a picture of peanut butter on a cracker on Christmas eve.
However, there is still curiosity regarding this tweet, especially considering Rondo denied the chance of him returning to the court for the Lakers game just three days ago.
If he does return, it'll be a big boost for the Boston Celtics, who have lost nine in a row and scit 13-26, three games behind the New York Knicks for a play-off spot.
