Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could be heading to German side Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to the Express.
Gladbach 'keeper Marc Andre ter-Stegen has announced his intention to leave the club at the end of his contract and it’s left the club with a predicament on their hands.
Current back-up, Christofer Hiermoth, now aged 32 could step into the No. 1 shirt but it was revealed yesterday Gladbach have shown their interest in United's second-choice 'keeper, Lindegaard.
Italian strugglers AC Milan are also linked with a move for the Danish keeper, whose agent recently said: "There will always be interest in a keeper who has got Anders' qualities. But we are discussing internally, with Manchester United, regarding what will happen with Anders in the future."
Lindegaard has been with the Salford-based club for three years, but with David De Gea ahead of him, he has had limited opportunity in goal for the Red Devils,.
Current Gladback 'keeper ter-Stegen is widely expected to sign for Barcelona and replace the ageing Victor Valdes, whose contract runs out in the summer.
