LA Lakers suffer another injury blow

The Los Angeles Lakers have been dealt another injury blow as Pau Gasol is a doubt for their clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, reports ESPN.

Gasol had an MRI after picking up an injury in the Lakers' 123-87 defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and it revealed that he has a moderate strain of the flexor tendon of his big toe.

And it now appears that the Lakers star could miss out on Tuesday's game as they look to end their losing streak.

The Lakers have lost their last four matches and will be hoping Gasol is passed fit to play against the Cavaliers. Gasol remains a key member of the team, but is currently shooting a career low 44.8 percent from the floor this season.

The Lakers have so many players currently on the injury list that they had just eight players players available for yesterday's session and now they will be hoping to beat a Cavaliers side who have won two out of their last three games.
