TNA have announced that the 10th annual Lockdown will take place in Miami Florida, on March 9 2014.

The pay-per-view last year broke the record for TNA's biggest domestic attendance with 6,700 fans packing into the Alamodrome in San Antonio, Texas, which broke TNA's previous record set at their biggest Pay-Per-View of the year Slammiversary in 2012.

Lockdown was best known as the pay-per-view where all matches took place in steel cages, but last year saw the event modified so that only the main event match now takes place in a steel cage.

This even sets most feuds in motion heading into Slammiversary, TNA's equivalent of WrestleMania so the roots will be planted for many superstars in the coming months as they head towards the biggest event of their calendar year.

Are you looking forward to Lockdown and do you think it can compete with this year's WrestleMania? Comment below!
