The 2014 East-West Shrine game takes place this weekend (Jan.18).

And for those players not selected for this years Senior Bowl it is one final chance to make their mark ahead of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Shrine game, and the hype that surrounds it, attracts dozens of scouts from the professional ranks and every player set to take part will be giving it their all in the hope of gaining a professional contract come May.

Since first being played in 1925, the Shrine game has become a platform for players from smaller schools to shine on the big stage, and a stand out performance in this game can catapult a player up mock drafts across the country.

So stay one step ahead of the scouts and check out five players to watch out for this Saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida.
