Manchester United may be forced into action over in this January transfer window as Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to move in on one of their targets.
According to talkSPORT, the Old Trafford club have been tracking Nicolas Gaitan for some time, suggesting the interest in him while Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge has been maintained by new boss David Moyes.
The report claims the Benfica winger, who was on the verge of joining Manchester United in 2012, has now attracted the interest of mega-rich PSG and they could be ready to move this month.
Moyes is desperate to make some January additions in a bid to save the Red Devils' stuttering season and it has been reported there is plenty of money for him to spend should the right players become available.
However, even the reigning Premier League champions, one of the biggest clubs in world football, may struggle to match the spending power of the Qatari-owned club, who have shown more than once they are ready to spend massive amounts to land their main transfer targets.
