WWE Raw live from Providence, Rhode Island kicked off with The Uso’s up against Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan. There was a promo involving The Wyatt’s and Daniel Bryan before they made it to the ring.

The Uso’s v Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan

The Uso’s were already in the ring waiting for the Wyatts and the match started out normally as with Bryan taking it to Jay Uso before tagging in Bray, who continued the punishment on Jay before a quick tag back to Daniel.

The quick tags helped the Wyatts to alienate Jay from his brother but Jimmy did get the tag in after Jay hit the enziguri on Bryan. Bray was thrown from the ring followed by Bryan and the Uso’s flew to the outside and tried to take advantage, but Harper and Rowan involved themselves and The Uso’s got the win via Disqualification.

After the match the Wyatts continued the beat down but The Uso’s escaped and headed to the back, whilst Bray hugged Daniel in the ring and hit Sister Abigail on him before Harper and Rowan carried him to the back.

John Cena v Damien Sandow

Cena was out for his first match of 2014 against Damien Sandow, the guy who cashed his money in the bank in against Cena and lost.

Sandow started the match out with a collar and elbow tie up but Cena powered out and hit an arm drag to the Intellectual saviour.

Raw returned with Cena in control hitting the five knuckle shuffle and going for the AA but Sandow fought out and hit the You’re Welcome for the two count. Sandow then put Cena into his new submission manoeuvre, the Royal Arch, but Cena found a way out and hit the neck breaker. Cena then climbed up to the top rope followed by Sandow but Cena pushed him off and hit the DDT from the top rope for a two count.

Sandow went for another submission move but Cena locked in the STFU but Sandow crawled to the bottom rope. Damien then locked in a variation of the Yes Lock but Cena used his strength advantage to hit the AA.

BACKSTAGE: Kane was with Brad Maddox and the Raw general manager talked about the start to the show before Kane told him he should go and enforce the rules. To which Brad said The Uso’s would face Bray and Bryan again tonight in a steel Cage with the door chained shut and Kane would be the only on with the key.

The Big Show v Jack Swagger

Swagger tried to use his speed over The Big Show but Show hit the shoulder tackle to ground him before setting him up for the Choke-slam and the win.

After the match Antonio Cesaro ran interference but headed into the crowd so Big Show went after Zebb Colter instead but Cesaro made the save but Big Show threw him out of the ring and went after Zebb again hitting him with the knockout punch.

New Age Outlaws and CM Punk v The Shield

The feud between CM Punk and The Shield continued with his friends from last week’s Old School Raw. Billy Gunn started things out with Dean Ambrose but makes the quick tag out to Seth Rollins in his newly sleeved attire, but Gunn managed to hit the slam and tag in The Road Dogg.

Raw returned with CM Punk on top of The Shield but Roman Reigns got the tag in and kneed Punk in the face and tag out to Ambrose who wore Punk down.

The Shield used their team work to keep Punk away from his partners, Roman then tagged in and hit the DX chop in front of the new age outlaws, allowing Punk time to recover and make the tag, but the outlaws jumped off the apron and headed to the back.

Punk was left in 3-on-1 situation and Punk knocked Seth off the apron and Reigns, the legal man, hit the spear for the win.

After the match, The Shield looked like they were leaving but Roman called them back for the triple power bomb.

BACKSTAGE: Bray Wyatt cut another promo with Daniel Bryan about their cage match telling Bryan that society is a cage and tonight they will find redemption inside the cage.

AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka v The Funkadactyls

Emma from NXT was in the crowd before the match holding a sign, but Cameron and Tamina started things off, Tamina tried to use her strength over Cameron and held her in a bear hug submission. Tamina then tagged in AJ who hit a neck breaker before skipping around the ring, Cameron tried to tag in Naomi but AJ knocked her off the apron and hit the shining wizard on Cameron for the win.

After the match Tamina continued to punish Cameron but Naomi came back into the ring, took out Tamina and hit the rear view on AJ.

BACKSTAGE: Randy Orton was with Kane and was asking where the authority was, because everything was wrong, Batista was coming back and he was the WWE World Heavyweight champion and he needed protection. Kane then told him that tonight he could take his frustration out on Kofi Kingston.

Ultimate Warrior was then announced as the first inductee into the 2014 Hall of Fame.

BACKSTAGE: Renee Young was with Paul Heyman who talked about how we are only 13 days away from the Royal Rumble. And bigged Brock Lesnar up ahead of the showdown between his client and Big Show.

Randy Orton v Kofi Kingston

Randy immediately knocked Kofi to the outside and threw him into the barricade before hitting a clothesline whilst he was outside, he then went for the pin but only got a two count.

Randy hit a perfect super-plex on the Jamaican superstar for a two count and then tried to wear Kofi down, Randy then went for the RKO but was thrown to the outside and Kofi jumped out to him with a clothesline.

Raw returned with Randy Orton back in control but Kofi hit a back body drop to level the match back up. Orton then seemed to crack as her threw Kingston to the outside and then into the steel steps, before throwing him back into the ring and instead of covering Kofi he continued to beat him.

Orton took too long going for the second rope DDT and Kofi countered and hit SOS for the win.

After the match Randy Orton lost his temper and threw the steel steps before yelling “shut up” to the crowd and making a beeline for John Cena’s dad who he tried to attack but security pulled him off and John Cena came to the aid of his dad.

BACKSTAGE: John Cena’s dad was being stretchered into an ambulance and Cena went with him.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust v RyBaxel

Axel and Goldust started the match up with Axel showing signs of ring improvement but he then tagged out to Ryback. Rhodes was then tagged in and hit a moon-sault for the two count.

Axel came back in against Goldust and got his own two count over the strange superstar. Before Cody hit the disaster kick to Ryback and Axel disposed of Goldust and went for the roll up for the two count but Cody recovered to hit Cross-Rhodes for the win.

Rey Mysterio v Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio threw Mysterio around in the opening stages of the match but Mysterio hit the head scissors and set Del Rio up for the 619 but Del Rio moved.

Rey then a two count after the sunset flip and kick to the face before Del Rio countered the bull dog to hit Rey in the arm. The former world champion worked down Rey’s Arm throughout the match, which is why it’s no surprise that Del Rio finally got the win via submission to the cross arm breaker.

After the match Del Rio called Batista out again and told him the same thing that has just happened to Mysterio will happen to him if he comes back next week. And he will carry him out of the Royal Rumble.

BACKSTAGE: CM Punk was with Kane and was also asking for The Authority and complained about the fact that The Outlaws are now against him. Kane then told CM Punk that he was in the Royal Rumble. CM Punk said he had no problem with that but he has a problem with Kane.

The Uso’s v Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan

Kane came out to chain the door shut and the match got underway. All four men were in the ring at the same time in a sort of Tornado Tag situation. Daniel and Bray were working well as a team to start out with and wore down the Uso’s but Jimmy tried to climb and Bryan followed him until they were both fighting up on the side, Bray then climbed up and pulled him down whilst Jimmy pulled Bray off and started to work on Bryan.

Bray went for Sister Abigail on one of the Uso’s but was hit but the other Uso. The Uso’s started to climb but were closely followed by Daniel and Bray but Jimmy and Jey knocked them down Daniel fell onto the rope knocking Bray off and allowing The Uso’s to jump out onto Harper and Rowan for the win.

After the match Bray was going crazy in the ring whilst the fans chanted “yes” Bray then went for Sister Abigail again but Daniel pulled Bray off and hit the running knee followed by a lot of running kicks on Bray before ripping off the overalls of the Wyatt family and continuing attacking Bray whilst the other members watched on from outside the locked cage.

Bryan then continued the “yes” chants and hit the running knee on Bray before climbing to the top of the cage and continued to chant with the crowd.

So Daniel Bryan is out from under Bray’s thumb, CM Punk is in the Royal Rumble and Batista will return to finally shut Alberto Del Rio up. Raw can only get better as we begin the "Road to Wrestlemania" in just 13 days.
