Cristiano Ronaldo may have picked up the prestigious Ballon d'Or this week, his second such triumph, but the Real Madrid superstar ranks among Europe's worst culprits when it comes to offsides this season.
The 28-year-old averages the third most offsides per game among players in Europe's most prominent leagues, with Ronaldo being flagged by the assistant referee 1.7 times every game.
Ronaldo has, however, found the net 20 times in his 18 La Liga appearances this term, so it is doubtful he would be overly concerned about how often he strays beyond the opposition defence.
With the position of Ronaldo in the rankings already revealed, here is the rest of the top 10...
10. Anthony Modeste - 1.3 offsides per game
9. Mustapha Yatabaré - 1.4
8. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - 1.4
7. Dario Cvitanich - 1.4
6. Carlos Bacca - 1.5
