Where does the ball end up? The craziest basketball finish

In your lifetime you will probably never see a more bizarre finish to a basketball game than this. 

The game in question was Grandview playing at Prosser in a boys basketball high school game. As the match-up headed into the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, it was tied ball game at 65-65. 

Then, just when it looked like Prosser were going to get a late basket, the ball was turned over and  Grandview proceeding to attacking the other end of the court. 

As the final seconds ticked away on the clock, the one of the Greyhounds player's attempted a lay-up which dramatically failed in the most bizarre way. 

The ball simply landed on the rim and stayed there as time expired to the amazement of the fans in attendance. Nonetheless, Grandview ended up winning 72-70 in over-time.
