The Ukrainian Premier League has struggled to make a major impact in the European Champions League in recent years but always represents a tough away trip for the elite.
Intimidating partizan crowds have seen the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal succumb to shock defeats to Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk in the past.
But the league itself still has plenty to offer in terms of entertainment. 1.26 goals a game on average is impressive but Shakhtar's monopoly of the league leaves little to the imagination when it comes to the title race.
