With the launch of the Brazuca last month, the footballing world's queries were laid to rest.

Come World Cup year people always question how the latest ball will react; will the climate affect it? Can you control the flight? What will it look like?

But the launch of the Brazuca answered all them - the name 'Brazuca' is a slang word used by Brazilians to describe pride in the Brazilian way of life.

The ball has been thoroughly tested by Adidas and England favourite Steven Gerrard has said it will be one of the best yet.

Which ball is to be used has been a point of discussion in the build-up to the World Cup since the 70's and this year is no different.

The ball's rigourous testing means players will have no excuses when they finally get to play with it come June.
