Former Orlando Magic forward Hidayet Türkoğlu is on the verge of signing a short-term deal at the Los Angeles Clippers, reports Slam Online.
Türkoğlu is a free agent after having his contract waived by the Magic at the beginning of January.
However the 34-year-old is thought to have already found a new franchise as Clippers head coach Doc Rivers is keen on bringing Türkoğlu to the Staples Center.
NTV SPOR journalist Ismail Senol took to Twitter earlier today to confirm Türkoğlu is currently in Los Angeles.
Senol is of the opinion that Türkoğlu will undergo a fitness test before signing a deal to stay at the Clippers until the end of the season.
Türkoğlu, who was born in Turkey, will be joining his sixth NBA franchise if he does complete a move to the Clippers.
The veteran forward has previously played for the Sacramento Kings, the San Antonio Spurs, the Toronto Raptors, the Phoenix Suns and has had two separate spells at the Orlando Magic.
