Manchester United remain clear favourites to sign Southampton star Adam Lallana in the January transfer window.

Sky Bet have released odds wherein the Premier League champions are 3/1 to bring in the high-flying England winger before the date where the transfer window slams shut, February 1.

Rumours have been rife recently suggesting that David Moyes has toyed with the idea of recruiting the £15million playmaker, who has so far exceeded expectations with his sensational form in the Premier League.

United are looking to revamp their squad this window and Lallana, who only made his international debut in November when England took on Chile and Germany, was at one point reported as being their No.1 target.

Of course Lallana does sit on a very long list of potential transfer targets for the Red Devils and his importance to Southampton could hinder any switch.

United have also been linked with Lallana’s Saints team-mate, Luke Shaw, though it’s highly unlikely they will capture both this month.
