Arsenal have joined Liverpool in the race to sign MK Dons wonderkid Dele Alli, reports The Metro.
The 17-year-old has played a key role in the MK Dons team in recent months and has even been compared to ex-Gunners captain Patrick Vieira.
It had previously appeared that Liverpool were in the driving seat for the player's signature, however after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch the teenager, the Gunners could now be ready to swoop for the starlet.
It remains to be seen as to whether Liverpool or Arsenal will make a bid for the youngster in this transfer window, however if they are going to get their hands on the star then they will have to pay around £5 million for him.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are hoping to build the strongest squads in England as they go in search of long term success.
The duo are both going in search of the Premier League title in this campaign and will be hoping to continue their form in the second half of the season.
However before they continue their battle in the title race, Liverpool and Arsenal could soon go head-to-head for Alli's signature.
