Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has thanked supporters on Facebook for helping him to reach over one million fans this year.

The midfielder has seen his page go from 85,000 fans whilst at Everton to just over a million since joining Manchester United.

Fellaini posted on his page: "Thank you to all the fans supporting me! We are 1 Million."

The Belgian midfielder is currently out of action for the champions but is expected to return for Manchester United in February following wrist surgery.

Fellaini arrived at Old Trafford last summer for £27.5 million and will be looking forward to rejoining the first team set up to help Manchester United try to climb the table.

With the World Cup drawing ever closer, Fellaini will be keen to impress for the Red Devils to cement his place in the Belgium team this summer.
