Pepsi have unveiled their ‘superstar football squad’ for 2014 in the latest PR marketing stunt by a big-name brand.
The soft drink giant follows in the footsteps of Samsung with the announcement of their team, although the unveiling has been slightly less elaborate on their website.
Some of the biggest names in the game have made the cut, with Lionel Messi understandably front and centre of their campaign.
The Argentine international, who was also involved in the Samsung campaign, leads a host of star players from around the world, with the US company clearly looking to capitalise on the ‘soccer’ market in a World Cup year.
And, with that in mind, it’s understandable that they’ve added players from all over the world in their squad. With the advertising slogan ‘Live For Now’, you can expect to see images of these players on a poster near you soon.
