Did Thunder fear the beard?

Oklahoma City Thunder were guilty of fearing the beard on Thursday evening but were able to get the win against the Houston Rockets by 104-92.

Kevin Durrant was the top scorer with 36 points - keeping him at the top of the NBA rankings - but the play of the game went to Rockets guard James Harden, who caught the Thunder napping with a dribble from deep.

With the Thunder 25-16 to the good in the first quarter, the man with the finest beard in the sport - possibly in any sport - cruised his way through the Thunder defence and towards the rim.

Harden then finished the move in style as he converted with a tomahawk jam, although his efforts proved to be futile. The Rockets star scored 16 points on the night, a level best for the Houston alongside Terrence Jones.
