Dino Zoff

Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff is the oldest ever winner of the World Cup after captaining Azzuri to the 1982 title aged 40 years four months and 13 days.

If you want to get an idea of how good he was bare in mind that Zoff was voted Italy's greatest player of the last 50 years by the Italian Football Association. Zoff was seen as a better player than Maldini, Totti, Paolo Rossi or any other greats Italy have produced.

Zoff deserved to win the Ballon d'Or.
