The singing that stands out the most so far this month is Chelsea’s resigning of Nemanja Matic of SL Benfica. The former Chelsea player left the club as a part of the deal to bring David Luiz in from the Portuguese giants.
Since he joined Benfica he has become one the most sought after players in the world. He has fantastic ball control and he could be a good replacement for Frank Lampard when he eventually retires. Also the Serbian international scored an amazing goal which was also nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award for the best goal of 2013.
Other signings this window include Clint Dempsey’s two month loan deal to struggling Fulham, who will benefit greatly from the experience of the USA international. Stoke City made the loan deal of Steven Ireland a permanent one from Aston Villa. He has been a valuable member of Mark Hughes' side.
Jonas Guitierez also made a loan move to struggling Norwich City the club has been struggling so far but they I don’t see them getting relegated this season. He could be one of the main reasons they don’t.
The Argentinian international has struggled to regain his place in the Newcastle side but now he can prove to the Toon how good he is, and he could possibly find his way back into Alan Pardew's side.
Theses signings could make huge differences to their individual teams and prove to be among the signings of the season.
