Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant caught fire at just the right time last night to maintain his awesome run of recent form, capping a 36-point display with a pair of huge dunks to down the Houston Rockets in a stirring second-half comeback.
Durant recorded a game-high 36 points alongside seven assists and five rebounds as the Thunder recovered from a 14-point halftime deficit to roar back into the winning column, despite Houston scoring a staggering 73 points in the first half.
The Rockets looked in complete control at the interval but tanked in a desperate second half showing, adding just 19 points across the final two quarters and failing to notch a single shot from downtown as Oklahoma came back from the dead.
Once again the Thunder's talisman Durant stood up to be counted, driving inside consistently as Houston failed to cope with the MVP favourite's all-action style.
