NBA star hits fan in head with basketball

Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson is usually pretty accurate with his passing – but we don't think he meant to do this.

A mis-placed cross-court pass, meant for teammate Alan Anderson, hit an unsuspecting spectator smack bang on the head at the O2 Arena in London earlier this week.

The fan was walking – possibly back to his seat, maybe to grab some refreshments, we're not to sure – when suddenly he was struck right in the side of his noggin.

We've all been there at some point in our lives – and although it's not pleasant, it's very funny for everyone else.

The fan, though, put on a brave face and carried on walking.

Sir, we salute you.
