NHL goaltender makes incredible save

Published Add your comment

Carter Hutton makes save of the year.

Leading 2-1 in the second, Predators goaltender Hutton went to retrieve the puck from behind his net when his clearance took an odd bounce and found its way into the path of Simon Gangne.

All signs pointing to the Flyers levelling the game but Hutton swooped around and plucked the puck from the air, making a sure candidate for save of the year.

This is Hutton's first full season in the NHL and he's more than proven himself to be worthy with a reasonable GAA.

The Flyers eventually lost in a shootout that gives Nashville a push slightly further away from the Jets at the bottom of the Western Central.
