Carroll's Seahawks show their strength - 2012/2013

Football News

Jim Harbaugh won his first three meetings against the Seattle Seahawks.

But two days before Christmas in 2011, Pete Carroll finally got a W against his NFC West rivals.

After suffering two narrow defeats (19-17 in 2011, and 13-6 in October 2012) the Seahawks cruised to victory at CenturyLink Field, beating the 49ers 42-13.

And this was followed up by another dominant display in this seasons first match up between the two teams.

Restricting Colin Kaepernick Harbaugh's Niners scored only 3 points ass they travelled to Seattle. Carroll's Seahawks won the game 29-3.

While the 49ers won the most recent game, these two results showed that Carroll was building a strong program in Seattle, and Harbaugh would not have it all his own way in the NFC West.
