Serie A giants Juventus are confident that they will now be able to lure Manchester United winger Luis Nani to Turin, according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport.
The source, citing Italian publication Tuttosport, claims that with Nani now no longer with former agent Jorge Mendes, Juventus believe they stand a better chance of convincing him to opt for them rather than others.
The Portuguese star has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following rumours he is set to exit United during David Moyes’ imminent squad overhaul.
The likes of Monaco, Fulham and Juve have all been touted as potential suitors, but Le 10 claims that the latter’s chances were limited due to their strained relationship with Nani’s agent Mendes.
However now that Mendes and Nani have gone their separate ways, Italian sources state that Juventus are far more assured of their abilities to bring the 27-year-old in.
Having signed a lengthy new contract at Old Trafford as recently as September, Nani’s valuation currently sits at around €20million.
Though Moyes isn't thought to be desperate to offload his winger, he will more than likely be prepared to listen to offers coming in if they align with the aforementioned sum.
