Whilst Neymar's twisted ankle claimed most of the headlines on Friday following Barcelona's clash with Getafe, another eye-watering injury occurred at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
Defender Alexis Ruano endured a moment his is unlikely to ever forget, being forced off after just 36 minutes with broken veins in one of his testicles.
And, his manager was certainly a little shocked at what he saw in the changing room, with Luis Garcia admitting the injury wasn't pretty.
"Alexis has a testicle like this," he told reporters, gesturing the size of a handball with his hands.
"Some veins were broken. When I entered the changing room, I was scared, but it's not serious. I've never seen anything like it."
Former Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann suffered a similar injury back in 2011, and was out of action for six weeks following the freak incident - which happened during a defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
"It's more painful than it sounds," he said of the incident the following year.
For the record, Lionel Messi scored twice for Barcelona following Alexis' exit, opening the scoring on 44 minutes and then doubling the visitors' advantage on 63 minutes.
The result secured a 6-0 aggregate victory for the Blaugrana, and saw Gerardo Martino's side cruise into the next round of the competition.
It wasn't all great news though, with Neymar set to miss three to four weeks of Barca action with the ankle injury he picked up.
