It hasn't been the best start to the campaign for Manchester United under David Moyes' leadership, but some players seem to have scored great off the pitch.

If you live in England, WAGs seem to break headlines, but if you live in outside England you might be wondering what WAGs are. 

WAGs is an acronym that stands for Wives And Girlfriends. The British press coined it during the 2006 World Cup to describe the soccer wives of England’s national players. But in today's world the term has been used in other sports as well for wives as well as girlfriends.
