Indiana Pacers forward David West has been fined $15,000 by the NBA after elbowing LA Clippers star Blake Griffin in the jaw, reports cbssports.
The incident, which can be seen in the video above, saw West ejected from play on Saturday night.
Despite his ejection and fine, West will take satisfaction that the Pacers managed to beat the Clippers 106-92, as they extended their winning streak to four games.
The Pacers now turn their attentions to their clash with the Golden State Warriors tomorrow as they look to win for the fifth straight time.
Meanwhile, Griffin and Co. will be looking to get back to winning ways as they take on the Detroit Pistons later today.
Before the defeat against the Pacers, the Clippers had won their previous five fixtures so will be looking to return to winning ways.
What did you think of the elbow? Is a $15,000 fine a fair punishment?
