It seems that the trend for watching outdoor NHL games is only growing more popular.
The 2014 Winter Classic, hosted by Michigan Stadium, played host to 105,491 fans and turned a reported $20m for the NHL.
Now the NHL is pushing the boundaries further and has organised more games to be played in the Yankee Stadium and the Dodgers Stadium.
With the near-tropical climate in L.A at the moment, people watched in amazement as the home of the Dodgers was transformed into a world-class NHL arena.
The organisers are attempting to copy the extremely popular Frozen Fenway event, hosted at the Boston Red Sox's famous park, by incorporating a few similar features.
But, allowing for the warm climate, they'll be trading Fenway's ice skating rink for a roller skate rink and the monster sled ramp they'll have a beach volleyball court.
The park will play host to the Los Angeles Kings as they face off against the Anaheim Ducks.
