Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson were ready to hit the dancefloor 'old school' at the 50th birthday party of first lady Michelle Obama, with the likes of Beyonce and John Legend performing at the star-studded event.
Mrs Obama hosted the bash at the White House on Sunday evening to celebrate reaching the milestone, with prominent names such as Sir Paul McCartney and Jennifer Hudson also in attendance.
Johnson and Jackson arrived together, along with their wives, and the latter was quick to concede that he was looking forward to busting some moves once the pleasantries had been taken care of.
The Hollywood star admitted it was unsure to what extent he would be 'cutting it up' but hoped to be getting down to some old school jams alongside the birthday girl.
Magic, meanwhile, felt it in his waters that a 'great' night was on the cards and thanked Jackson for making the introduction that meant he was included among the guests when the invites were sent out.
"Well we all think it’s gonna be a great party," the Lakers legend told TMZ.
"She’s the First Lady and we’re all here to support her. And I have to give Sam and [his wife] LaTanya a lot of credit because [they’re] the ones who first introduced us to the First Lady, we were partying at their house, that was before [she] was First Lady and here we all are now to support her again."
