Steven Fletcher filmed himself spitting on a rickshaw driver who was taking him out in London, reports the Daily Mirror.

The Scotland international then went ahead to call the driver "c***" and posted a picture of the driver's saliva-covered back on Instagram.

Black Cats fans will be shocked to hear of the actions of their £40,000-a-week player, who captioned the photo on Instagram: "Al spit on ya back ya c***."

The shocking incident was filmed by Fletcher as the driver took him and a friend through the streets of London. Fletcher and his friend were both seen grinning in the video.

Fans responded to the Scottish international's immaturity on Instagram, until the video and photo were consequently taken off the player's account.

This isn't the first time Steven Fletcher has found himself in the spotlight. He first enraged fans in 2012 when he marketed his fashion brand to 100,000 Twitter followers immediately following a Scotland defeat which made it impossible for the country to qualify for this summer's World Cup.
