Former Indoor World Championship 100m hurdle gola medalist Lolo Jones has become the lastest in only a handful of athletes to make the summer and winter Olympic games.

Jones successfully made the selection for the U.S. women's Bobsled team, along with former 100m world champion and 4x100m Olympic gold medalist Lauryn Williams.

The pair will become only the ninth and tenth summer Olympians to compete in the winter version of the games for USA when they were selected as part of the six-woman push squad that will travel to Sochi next month.

According to ESPN, Jones turned to bobsled after her failure to make the podium in the 100m hurdles at London 2012, losing out to fellow Americans Kelly Wells and Dawn Harper, while Australia's Sally Pearson took gold with an Olympic record.

Williams, meanwhile, was part of the 4x100m relay that took gold at the London games and was convinced by Jones to take up the Bobsled after her retirement from track, taking to it especially well, evidently.
