Manchester United manager David Moyes will attend Bayern Munich's clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday and will run the rule over Dante, reports The Telegraph

The Red Devils have been tipped to spend in this January transfer market and the United boss has been seen all over Europe watching a number of players in recent time.

And, as Manchester United are without a game this weekend, it appears David Moyes will head to Germany as he monitors the Bayern defender.

The 30-year-old is a versatile defensive player and could further increase competition at the Theatre of Dreams. Despite still being a key member of Pep Guardiola's squad, the Brazilian's long term future with the Bavarians is currently uncertain and the Premier League champions could act.

However it remains to be seen as to whether David Moyes will make a move for the Bayern ace in this transfer window.

Manchester United's immediate attention will turn to their Capital One Cup semi-final clash with Sunderland on Wednesday night. The Red Devils will be hoping to overturn a 2-1 deficit against the Black Cats at Old Trafford as David Moyes targets his first final with United.
