Manchester United legend Gary Neville has highlighted seven stars that would fit into the philosophy of Manchester United.
The Daily Star have reported that the former Red Devils captain doesn't think Juan Mata would fit it at the Premier League champions, however he's insisted that their are a number of other stars who should be targeted.
Manchester United have had a nightmare season up to now, currently finding themselves in seventh place in the Premier League and a staggering 14 points behind leaders Arsenal.
This has led to a number of reports linking the champions with Europe's top stars and the Red Devils' former captain believes there are a number of players who could fit into the side.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Neville said: "If you took Paul Pogba, Marco Reus, Luke Shaw and Arturo Vidal - they would fit into Manchester United's philosophy.
"Lucas Moura would and Ilkay Gundogan and Julian Draxler would.
"They are young players who have still not reached their full potential and have the potential to go on to be world-class players.
"They are good players at the moment and that fits the Manchester United mould of how they have historically signed, more often than not."
It remains to be seen as to whether Manchester United boss David Moyes will swoop for any of these stars in this current window.
United fans will be desperate to see a new face at the club as the Red Devils target Champions League qualification in this campaign.
Manchester United's immediate focus will be on their Capital One Cup semi-final clash with Sunderland tomorrow night as Moyes' side look to overturn a 2-1 deficit at Old Trafford.
