Manchester United star Federico Macheda looks finally set to move on, as talks are in motion between his representatives and Italian side Fiorentina.
The Serie A outfit, who only recently took Anderson on loan until the end of the year, are, according to Italian source Tuttomercato, interested in recruiting Macheda on a permanent basis when his contract is up in June.
Despite initially promising big things at United having broken into the first-team as a 17-year-old, Macheda’s development has stalled and he has found himself regularly sent out on loan in recent years.
All factors would indicate that the youngster’s tenure at the Premier League champions is surely nearing its end, and as such his representatives have met with Fiorentina to discuss options for when his deal at Old Trafford expires.
If reports are to be believed that Macheda will be one of a long-list of players who are being shipped out of United during David Moyes’ squad overhaul.
