West Ham entertain Manchester City at Upton Park in the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi final where they will have to turn around a 6-0 defeat to go through.
City continued their impressive home form when the sides met in the first leg at the Etihad stadium and recorded the joint biggest win in League Cup semi final history.
The other 6-0 win was by Oldham in 1990 who beat West Ham as well.
The Hammers go into the second leg tonight having lost to Newcastle 3-1 on Saturday. The side from London have only won once since the end of November and that was against Cardiff on the 11th January.
West Ham have conceded 16 goals in their last five games and will need to improve on this tonight if they are going to finish the game with any respect.
Manuel Pellegrini's men haven't lost since they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League in December.
City have played West Ham twice this season so far and have scored nine times against them, only conceding once.
The side from Manchester are likely to rest many of the first team players tonight but could see Jack Rodwell and Stevan Jovetic return after long absences on the sidelines.
West Ham have their captain Kevin Nolan available after suspension as well as defender James Tomkins.
Andy Carroll, Ravel Morrison and Ricardo Vaz Te could all feature as Sam Allardyce's team look to make the aggregate scoreline respectable.
Prediction: West Ham 1 - 4 Manchester City
