Sevilla have rejected a €12million bid for Manchester United target Alberto Moreno, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Interest in the young full-back has been high this month, with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid said to have registered their interest. However the first real movements came from Serie A giants Napoli, who offered €12million to try and entice Sevilla into a sale.
However the La Liga outfit remained firm on their stance that they do not want to part ways with any more prised assets, particularly having lost Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas to Manchester City prior to the start of the season.
Manchester United have already affirmed their interest in the 21-year-old by way of sending scouts to watch him play, and so will likely be boosted by news that Napoli’s proposal was rebuffed.
David Moyes has been keeping his eye on a number of left-backs in the build up to this transfer window, with long-term target Leighton Baines and Southampton starlet Luke Shaw also in the mix to replace the potentially out-going Patrice Evra.
