Carmelo Anthony has been left extremely frustrated after the New York Knicks suffered defeat against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, reports ESPN.
The Nets cruised to victory at Madison Square Garden as they picked up a 103-80 victory against the Knicks.
The Knicks were beaten for the fourth time in succession and Anthony has hit out at his teammates after showing a lack of fight.
After the match, he told reporters: "That's the only thing that kind of bothers me: Today we didn't even fight. I felt like we didn't fight as a team.
"Them guys from the jump ball just came in and it felt like they owned us."
"We couldn't get into defensive sets and [were] just scrambling and double-teaming and switching, basically just scrambling the whole game."
The Knicks are currently tied in 10th place in the Eastern Conference after a disappointing season so far and they will be desperate for a response in their next fixture.
The team will take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday and will be hoping to get back to winning ways.
Philadelphia will also be targeting victory after a bad run of form themselves. They've lost seven of their last eight matches and will be hoping Madison Square Garden gives them some luck later this week.
