AC Milan's Sulley Muntari may be on his way back to England after reported interest from Hull City.
Hull seem to be in the market for a new central midfielder if the reports are to be believed, which link the club with the Ghanaian powerhouse, who is used to the English game after spells at Portsmouth and Sunderland.
Currently sitting in 11th place, AC Milan have struggled so far this season, and face the prospect of losing some of their key players.
One of which is Sulley Muntari, who has played relatively well this season, and at 29, would still have something to offer in the Premier League.
Questions may be asked of whether Hull need another midfielder, because of their current options, which include Jake Livermore, Tom Huddlestone and captain Robert Koren.
However, in my opinion for a team like Hull, whose main goal this season is to avoid the drop, numbers are important.
Injuries can mount up quickly with the tight fixture list of the Premier League so getting someone like Muntari would be very effective, factor in his added experience of playing in big games such as the Champions League final and he becomes a fantastic purchase.
Hull will likely finish just in the bottom half in the Premier League table, with only a small chance of them being dragged into the relegation battle; they will probably survive the drop, but can do with all the help they can get.
