Former New York Knicks player Chris Smith has found himself on trouble again after claiming  on twitter that he should replace Beno Udrih.

Udrih has asked the Knicks to be traded and Smith, who is currently a reserve guard for the D-League Erie Bayhawks definitely agrees.

Smith retweeted one fan who proclaimed that Udrih, who is originally from Slovenia should go 'to the Himalayas and freeze to death'

The guard later tweeted out an apology to Udrih: "Misread a tweet didn't mean To diss Beno at all sheesh.. You all should know I am a man of class. Thank you good night"

Earlier this year Smith's brother, J.R claimed he felt betrayed when the Knicks released Chris. J.R Smith has also been fined by the NBA for 'recurring instances of unsportsmanlike conduct'.

Chris Smith has averaged nine points a game for the Bayhawks since being claimed by them in January.

Meanwhile his brother has averaged 12 points per game in his last 10 appearances.

Smith is not considered to be an option to return to an NBA roster.
