Jerry Rice picks Drew Brees as Pro Bowl captain

Jerry Rice has selected Drew Brees and Robert Quinn as his Pro Bowl captains for Sunday's game in Hawaii.

Rice and fellow alumni team captain, Deion Sanders flipped a coin to decide who would select captains fist. Rice won and picked Brees and Quinn whilst Sanders was left with Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt and Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles.

Sanders will now have the first pick when the two Hall of Fame players begin the first ever Pro Bowl draft later tonight.

Brees led his Saints' team to the divisional round of the playoffs this year and has been awarded with his eight Pro Bowl appearance. This will be Quinn's first Hawaii appearance.

Sanders also reiterated his desire to take part in the game on Sunday: "Don't rule out Jerry and I playing." Sanders said to laughter on the stage, the former cornerback also suggested that the two Hall of Famers could duke it out instead of a more traditional coin toss.

The first ever Pro Bowl draft will start at 8ET tonight and is live on the NFL Network.
