My oh my it gets worse for David Moyes. Four losses from five games since the turn of the year, it can be safely said that he is under intense scrutiny at the helm of Manchester United.
Contrast this to the lack of pressure the 'happy one' is currently experiencing at Chelsea, with a 100 percent win record stretching back into December 2013, and we can see that all is not well for the Red Devils manager.
With United languishing in seventh place in the table, and neither of their star men fit, Moyes is facing somewhat of an uphill struggle. Losses to Spurs, Swansea and Sunderland in the Capital One Cup have done much to wash away the air of inevitability that Manchester United will win every game. The way in which the two Manchester clubs have swapped roles this season is what football is all about.
Prior to the oil soaked, consistently winning Manchester City team we see today, fans of the City of old could be heard on occasion chanting:
"We never win at home/And we never win away/We lost last week/And we lost today/We don't give a ****/'Cause we're all pissed up/MCFC OK."
Although we are unlikely to ever see Manchester United adopt this chant, not least because of its sky blue association, it is somewhat amusing to see football fans having a dig at Manchester United and Moyes while they still can.
Terry Fahy is an impressionist with a particular skill for imitating football managers, and this video of Mr. Mourinho ringing Mr. Moyes is not one to be missed!
